I Need... Safety. Love. Family. You.
As a CEDARS foster parent you can provide safety, security and love for a child who has been removed from a crisis situation in his own home. CEDARS goal for all children in our care is to reunite them with their families or find them a new permanent home. Until then we rely on our team of dedicated foster families to welcome them into a safe, stable environment which provides them support and comfort. One child at a time, CEDARS foster families are changing lives. Opening your heart and home to a child in need can provide them the opportunity for a better life.
Each year CEDARS foster care team helps nearly 150 foster children flourish in out-of-home care. By providing a strong support system for its families, CEDARS is able to provide loving families to open their arms to more and more children every year.
There are a number of ways you can provide care for a foster child that range from short-term relief care to taking a child into your home until permanency is achieved. Whatever level of interest, your willingness to help a child grow and flourish can make life-changing differences.
Emergency Foster Care: Being available for immediate placement of a child in crisis on a 24-hour basis.
