Safety Rules

• Elevators
  1) Watch your step
  2) Leave closing doors alone
  3) If doors don't open ring alarm button and wait
  4) If there is a fire in the building use stairs
  
  
• Escalators & Moving Walks
  1) Step on and off carefully
  2) People only – no canes, walkers or wheeled vehicles
  3) Hold the handrail
  4) Hold children or small packages firmly with one hand
  5) Do not touch the sides below the handrail
  6) Stand facing forward

  An interactive education program for adults and seniors, intended to increase the public's awareness of the safe and proper way to ride elevators, escalators and moving walks. The program lasts about 10 minutes and includes a self-test that can be taken either at the beginning or the end of the program.
