The EESF and the EESFC are able to develop and distribute elevator and escalator safety programs to the public due to the generous contributions of individuals and companies within the elevator industry as well as users of the industry's equipment.
Volunteer
The EESF & EESFC has many volunteer opportunities. People like you help us everyday educate the public on the safe and proper way to ride elevators, escalators and moving walks.
Volunteers can get involved with all the Foundation's programs; Safe-T Rider, A Safe Ride and National Elevator Escalator Safety Awareness Week in a variety of ways.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Volunteer to give a Safe-T Rider Classroom Presentation
- Volunteer to give an A Safe Ride Presentation
- Write a Proclamation Request Letter to your Governor
- Set up or Man an informational display booth in a Mall or Public Building
- Send out company Payroll or Bill Stuffers with Safety Information
- Include a Safety Week Story in an In-house publication
- Help with an upcoming EESF special event

Joining the EESF/EESFC mailing list will entitle you to all materials released to the public such as news releases, newsletters and special event announcements.
These publications highlight the work the Foundations and their volunteers are doing to educate the public on the safe use of the elevator escalator industry's equipment. They will also inform readers about EESF and EESFC fundraising activities and events.
