Fred Daigle is an active husband, father and grandfather. When a stroke nearly took his life, Fred fought back. "I watch my grandkids after school and help my elderly neighbor with her lawn. I had to get better."

A mosquito bite on a summer evening led to West Nile virus for Deb Spanyers. With her rehabilitation team, Deb worked hard to regain mobility so she could return to her busy family and job as Saline County Treasurer.
