- Wenjia Zeng, M.D. Medical director of Madonna's Stroke Program
As medical director of Madonna's Stroke Program, Dr. Zeng develops and implements individualized treatment plans for patients, and provides input into overall program planning. Dr. Zeng earned his medical degree at Guangzhou Medical College in Guangzhou, China, where he served as a resident physician for five years before pursuing a graduate research fellowship in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Zeng continued his work in medical research in the Dept. of Biochemistry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and also in the Dept. of Neurology at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Zeng was a resident physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Ark. before joining Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital as a staff physiatrist in 2003.
- Amy Goldman, DPT Program Manager
As Program Manager, Dr. Goldman is responsible for the overall management of the Stroke Program, including provision of clinical leadership and program development, quality improvement and outcomes management, referral development, and customer relations. Amy earned her doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska and is trained in Neuro-Development Treatment (NDT). She has 7 years of clinical experience, including 6 years working with the stroke population.
