Wound Program: Outcomes

During the fiscal year July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital discharged a total of 67 patients from the Wound Program on LTACH. Additional patients were served in the Ventilator Assist/Special Needs Unit (VAU/SN) level of care.

Several standard measurements are used to assess the outcomes of persons served.

Outcomes: There are no national benchmarks for Wound Programs on an LTACH level of care. The outcomes described below are for all patients with a primary diagnosis of skin disorders discharged between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009.
