Additional InfoPower Soccer Power soccer allows individuals with a variety of diagnosis in power wheelchairs to participate in a fun, recreational game of soccer. Power soccer uses the same rules as traditional soccer. Fiver players and a goalie on the court at a time. The players have guards temporarily attached to there wheelchairs and use a bigger ball. Participants must have swing away leg rests. As this is a contact sport, Madonna is not liable for any damage done to personal property. Workshop to be held on March 27, 2010 at Madonna ProActive, which is located at 56th and Pine Lake. Criteria 1. Four wheeled power wheelchair with swing away leg rests 2. Able to maneuver power wheelchair at varying rates of speeds 3. No cords or bags hanging off back of wheelchair Cost is $5.00 and scholarships are available. Registration fee must be submitted prior to workshop.
