- Legacy Circle
Join the Monsignor Walsh Legacy Circle by making a minimal annual pledge of $1,000 to the Clinic.
In 1922, Monsignor George Walsh noticed a significant number of infant deaths in his parish.
Babies died because their parents were unable to afford to take them to the doctor. With $50, Monsignor Walsh opened San José Clinic, determined that the city's underprivileged would have a medical home anchored in the community where they would receive the quality care they so needed and deserved. At that time, he had no idea that he would be creating a legacy of providing healthcare to thousands of Houstonians that would continue for generations.
The Monsignor Walsh Legacy Circle is designed to encourage individual donors to support San José Clinic by making annual gifts of $1,000 or more to the Clinic. These gifts are used for Clinic operating support. Pledges to the Monsignor Walsh Legacy Circle need to be paid in full by December 31st. Each donor who makes an annual gift totaling $1,000 or more to the Monsignor Walsh Legacy Circle will receive a plaque that has been generously underwritten. Membership will be published in the Clinic's annual report. The gift is tax-deductible.
Company matching gifts count toward gift levels. A personal gift, along with a company match, can help a donor reach the next club level. If your company has a matching gift plan, please send that information along with your donation.

- Honorary or Memorial Contribution
San José Clinic welcomes gifts made in honor or memory of your friends and family. The Clinic will notify the honoree or family member when a gift has been made in their behalf to the Clinic. Please complete the donation form with the names of those you are honoring or making a donation in memory of. Kroger and Randalls shoppers support San José Clinic
Funding from the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor donation program and the Randalls Good Neighbor Program will assist San José Clinic in offering comprehensive healthcare to low-income, uninsured persons in the Greater Houston area. By linking San José Clinic to your KrogerPlus Card and/or your Randalls Remarkable Card, the Clinic will receive a donation every time you shop at one of these stores.
