Financial Support
The Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition is grateful for the strong financial support it receives from its founding organizational partners - Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta and Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton. We also are supported by grants from the Georgia Department of Community Health and Georgia Cancer Coalition as well as from private and corporate foundations. We receive federal funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) via a subcontract to the Emory Prevention Research Center. In addition, local businesses and individuals provide valuable donations to support our work. Finally, we are supported by extraordinary in-kind contributions of time, expertise, and other resources from our many partners.
