When and why was your organization founded?
The Cancer Coalition was founded in 2002 by stakeholders interested in collaborating to more effectively reduce the burden of cancer in rural southwest Georgia. The hope was to fill local gaps in cancer research, education and community-based services, and to bring more resources to our local communities. Please see History for more detailed information.
